Bulgaria has been one of the leading five summer beach destinations for recreation in recent years.
There are many reasons for this, let’s name the main ones: A wide choice of resorts – noisy and not very affordable prices for tours, simple visa registration without numerous references from work and from the bank, the possibility of departure on charter and regular flights from Moscow and the regions of Russia and, finally, the proximity of Bulgarians to the Russians in the way of thinking and spirit.
The choice of hotels in Bulgaria is unusually wide, from the most budget 2* to large “five-star” hotel complexes with developed infrastructure for children and adults. The “all-inclusive” meal system is traditionally loved by Russians, especially by family vacationers, and many Bulgarian hotels are ready to provide Russian tourists with All Inclusive at a very decent level. Moreover, every year there are more and more such hotels in the country.
When selecting hotels, we were guided primarily by the opinions of tourists themselves. A huge number of reviews on each of the Bulgarian hotels with “all inclusive” meals can be found on the Internet, but there are undoubted leaders who are far behind by positive estimates appear on the Russian-speaking and foreign sites, and are booked first. Of course, the list is dominated by 5* hotels, but we tried to find the best options in other categories.
The colour of the beaches gave the name to this resort and the beaches here are truly magnificent – wide and spacious, with a good entrance to the sea; the city itself is spread on the territory of the National Park and breathes here is really easy even in the heat.
The city is fully tourist oriented and all is subject to the rhythm of life of holidaymakers: cafes, shops, entertainment and shopping centers, sports and playgrounds filled with guests from different countries. The noise and bustle reign in the center of the resort, on the outskirts are much quieter.
Hotels here are located on 1 and 2 lines from the sea, offer different types of food. As we have focused on “all inclusive” meals, we will note the leaders among them.
Melia Grand Hermitage 5* is one of the best hotels on the coast, located in a shady park. The Kids&Coby Melia concept is available for kids and teenagers and includes nice gifts and compliments, the Kids&Coby Melia children’s club has Russian-speaking teachers, and a variety of sports and entertainment activities and water slides are available for adults.
The hotel is especially proud of its SPA-center with a wide range of procedures. Spanish Melia network guarantees a high level of service for guests, for discerning tourists there are categories of rooms TheLevel with special privileges.

The European level of AllInclusive, water slides on the territory, cozy rooms and good animation complement the advantages of the hotel.
If you don’t want the hustle and bustle of resorts and crowds, but are looking for a cozy, authentic Bulgarian town, then Nessebar, located on the peninsula, is connected to the resort area by a narrow isthmus. Cozy old streets, historical monuments and picturesque views from the rocky shore of the Old Town will enrich the archive with vivid photographs.
Here the absolute leaders of tourists’ sympathies are the hotels Sol Nessebar Mare4* and Sol Nessebar Palace 5*. The strongest side is food: diverse and very tasty.
In addition, the hotels have a common territory: hotel guests can use the entire territory of the complex without restrictions, except for the main restaurants. There are swimming pools, children’s playgrounds and sports grounds, a good water park – certainly not going to be boring! For a quiet stay at the hotel a lot of shady, green and cozy corners.
